What is Hydrotherapy?
Hydrotherapy is the use of water in the treatment of disease and maintenance of health.
"Our job is to make over the blood. Until we do, we're just spinning our wheels." - Harold Dick
The idea with hydrotherapy is that health and healing is proportional to blood flow. Hydrotherapy uses varying temperatures of water to alter blood flow and enhances it’s circulation through the organs to help eliminate waste and increase nutrient delivery to tissues. (Boyle & Saine, 1995)
