Dr. Natalie Pond

Naturopathic Doctor

Manotick Naturopath

While growing up, my mother was a proponent of Chinese Medicine and my father was reading natural health books and listening to alternative health podcasts. I recognized that good health could be possible when strong foundations are created.

After seeing a Naturopathic Doctor for the first time, I became intrigued about medicine in a holistic view. Naturopathy looks at a person’s well-being from the perspective of integrating mind, body and spirit as pillars of health. I incorporate these vital aspects to tailor personalized, balanced and sustainable treatments, while aspiring to empower and educate patients to transform their health.

    • I have a new found love of gardening and my dream is to build an English cottage garden - which is also the inspiration behind the new branding of the clinic.

I believe we are at our most optimal state of health when we find the perfect balance between body, mind, and spirit. Our life demands of work, raising children, and living our passion make it hard to know exactly what’s needed for that harmonious state. Where do you start in navigating the overwhelm? That is where I come in: Strategy with Compassion. Together, we will uncover the obstacles that keep you from thriving. We will find the best balanced approach for your health needs and ensure that it works for exactly the space you are in right now.

I want you to feel seen and heard.

I want you to see what it feels like to live an authentic, energetic life.

I want you to be fully present for you and your family.

I want you to feel you.

    • At my core, I am a mother. Motherhood has transformed me, and the awesomeness of this journey continues to inspire me every day. Most days you can find me chasing my toddler son, Oliver, around our rural farm property. Our family spends summer days growing organic produce, while winter months are cozied up with books and tea. I prefer to be quiet and observe rather than loud and at the centre of attention. I love getting lost in a story. I am an admitted choco-holic.

    • I believe in community, not competition.

    • I believe that we all have the capacity to heal.

    • I believe our emotions and spirit play as crucial a role to our health as the food we eat and the air we breathe.

    • I believe we all have a unique story and I want them to be heard.

    • So join me! I would love to hear your story and support you in your healing journey.

  • Dr. Alex Keller, ND, AFMCP is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor in Health Sciences and Psychology. Although originally intending to attend conventional medical school, following a three-month volunteer internship at a rural Kenyan hospital where he observed how doctors used local food to treat patients, he shifted his career goals and pursued a degree in naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.

After one year of practicing with the esteemed Dr. Chris Pickrell, ND, RH in a community acupuncture setting, in 2015 he and his wife Dr. Jenn Keller, ND moved to rural Ottawa where they started an organic farm and retreat center. In the same year, Alex and his sister Jess Keller combined their practices to form Keller Active Health in Ottawa, which they operated successfully for seven years until the COVID-19 pandemic forced its closure. In 2022, he joined Manotick Integrative Health and currently consults with patients virtually across Ontario.

Ever curious and passionate about the education of evidence-based natural medicine, in 2017, Dr. Keller joined an Ottawa-based health tech startup named Fullscript, where he serves as Medical Director and oversees the development of medical education content for practitioners across North America.

  • As a former provincial-level athlete in rugby and competitive-level athlete in football, hockey, and soccer, Alex has a deep respect for the influence athletics and movement can have on a person's overall health. Today, having traded his cleats for running shoes, he competes in ultra-marathon trail races and half/full marathon road races.

In his spare time, he and Jenn chase around their children and tend to the everyday duties that come with operating a farm.

Dr. Alanna Dyment

Naturopathic Doctor

I grew up seeing a naturopathic doctor and never had much experience with medical doctors until I started to see deficiencies in the healthcare system as a young adult - short-term solutions for chronic, deep rooted problems. I saw the shortcomings of the mainstream medical model and I knew I had to be a part of the movement to improve healthcare in Ontario.

In looking for a school to attend to pursue this goal, I chose to attend the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM). Arizona has one of the widest scopes of practice for naturopathic doctors and as such, prescribing drugs, delivering babies, performing minor surgery were all part of my training there. I felt that this would give me superior knowledge in these areas and feel it has provided directly beneficial in understanding and assisting my patient who often come in on many medications.

  • I enjoy cooking and tend to experiment a lot with different recipes and have tried numerous diets so the recommendations I make to patients are not ones I haven’t had experience with myself.

I have three boys and one girl – Isaac, Jack, Myles, and Maren – who have helped me become a better doctor by exposing me to all that motherhood brings to life and a wonderful husband (who happens to be my high school sweetheart), who has been instrumental in my success as a naturopathic doctor allowing me to have the opportunity to help patients and build a successful practice.

I have the great pleasure of both living and working in the beautiful village of Manotick. I am married with two wonderful girls, Kathryn and Emma, who are the lights of my life. My husband Greg and I met 14 years ago after a mutual friend became absolutely determined that we should meet. Turns out she was right!

I am a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management, Economics and Finance. I spent many years after graduation working in the finance and banking industry in Ottawa before having children.I stayed home with my girls for many years until they were both in school full time. When I made the decision to go back to work I decided that I wanted to try something new. The opportunity to join Manotick Integrative Health presented itself and I am so very glad it did! I had already had a great deal of experience with naturopathy as my sister-in-law is a naturopathic doctor. My family has benefited from her knowledge for close to 20 years! I am so glad to be part of such a positive team and to know that my work contributes to the pursuit of better living. Never hesitate to ask me questions or make requests. I am here to help!

In loving memory of Nicole Docksteader, Registered Psychotherapist.

She brought joy and laughter to all of those around her. She made huge impacts in all our lives and will never be forgotten.

May she rest in peace.
